Description The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) requires deployment and operation of temporary facilities and services in support of DHS mission critical efforts. DHS plans to establish a Department-wide strategic sourcing contract vehicle that allows procurement by all DHS Component agencies to meet their mission needs. The contractor shall provide all material, supervision, labor, equipment and services to provide a turnkey solution for the set-up and operation of temporary facilities. Facilities may include weatherproof and climate-controlled, soft-sided structures along with modular structures. The contractor shall provide infrastructure requirements such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, communications, power, back-up power, and Closed Circuit Television (CCTV). Structures and equipment will need to meet engineering standards such as structural, wind shear, electrical, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), and lightning protection. The contractor shall provide their own storage or trailers to secure equipment and materials. The contractor shall have the ability to provide wrap around services and supplies as needed such as trash removal service, custodial services, water delivery, consumables, office supplies, document shredding service, food service, and security services. Immediate requirements are along the Southwest Border but future requirements could be located in other parts of the U.S. All materials, services, and labor for each facility will be specified in the order-level statement of work (SOW). Additional industry engagement for this initiative will be forthcoming. |
